Job Title: Traction Control Engineer (TCE) Purpose of the Job: To achieve capability to specify, design and validate traction control converter line based on standard components and systems. To utilize simulation models of traction control. Responsibilities: Design of the control of traction subsystem (LV schemes, Syrs, FRS) in collaboration with the SW department, the Power Engineering and with the Industrial Design. Follow up the SW development. Collaborate with Validation or the SW-HW integration tests on the Heavy and Light Digital Simulators and on the Combined tests benches. Utilize simulation model of the control. Educational Requirements: Master degree in electrical engineering. An experience of 3 years in traction or auxiliary engineering. Behavioural Skills / Competencies: Accountability, Teamwork, Sense of urgency, Communication, Able to provide analysis and synthesis report. Technical Skills & Competencies: Basic level knowledge of power converters, IGBT devices, traction systems and asynchronous motors. Application level knowledge of control techniques and simulation tools. Basics Knowledge of mechanics, thermodynamics and aeraulics. Basic knowledge of measurement techniques and acquisition systems.
