Responsibilities:

As a Traffic Equipment Maintenance Technician, your primary responsibilities will include:

• Installing and maintaining cameras and other equipment that record information about vehicles violating traffic signals or speeding.
• Setting up, operating, and shutting down equipment daily in strict adherence to company policies and procedures.
• Conducting troubleshooting and repairs on equipment when necessary.
• Continuously monitoring, recording, and optimizing equipment performance throughout your assigned work shift.
• Being adaptable to varying work hours, which may include weekends, early morning shifts, and overnight work.
• Safely operating company-owned vehicles and equipment.
• Maintaining detailed documentation and logs of daily duties completed.

Qualifications:

To excel in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:

• Experience in repairing and maintaining electrical and electronic equipment.
• Proficiency with electrical testing equipment, such as voltmeters and battery testers.
• Basic knowledge of AC/DC power supply theory and applications.
• Competence in basic wire repair and terminations.
• Familiarity with network control systems, including cat-5 and wireless routers.
• Knowledge of digital camera equipment and electronic control systems.
• The ability to work independently, managing time and tasks effectively.
• Previous experience in cable TV or satellite installation is a plus.
• A mostly clean driving record is required.
• Candidates will be subject to a drug test.
