Trainee / Assistant Estimator Role

Assistant Estimator Role - Company: Tier 1 Main Contractor



Salary & Package:

Up to c.(35,000 + Car Allowance + Lucrative Bonus + Package + Clear Path For Progression Within One Of The UK's Leading Main Contractors



Experience Needed:

HNC or Degree Qualified (Quantity Surveying / Commercial Management) OR (Experience working for a main contractor as a Trainee/Assistant Estimator or Trainee/Assistant Quantity Surveyor



Duties:



* Assisting in the preparation of cost estimates and tender submissions.



* Conducting quantity take-offs from construction drawings.



* Collaborating with senior estimators to develop project budgets.



* Analysing subcontractor and supplier quotations to ensure value for money.



* Supporting the preparation of cost plans and feasibility studies.



* Maintaining accurate records of tender documentation and correspondence.



* Liaising with subcontractors and suppliers to obtain competitive pricing.



* Contributing to the preparation of cash flow forecasts and project financial reports.
