Delivering and improving engineering capabilities that enable Vestas to deliver high-quality, safe, and sustainable products and services to our customers. The Standardization Development team is a global team primarily located in Denmark, India, and Portugal. Our department is responsible for defining, driving, and ensuring both short and long-term business performance targets are being met across platforms, modules, sub-modules, and value chains to ensure the highest degree of standardized and modularized products. We are responsible for delivering business and capability offerings such as Standardization development and Parts management, Reference Designation Systems (RDS), Materials Management, and External standards & Standards in Vestas that maximize the value Vestas creates for stakeholders. Responsibilities This position will have exciting job opportunities and you will join an awesome product scrum team where we will practice Agile and Scrum to develop engineering capabilities to deliver value creation and customer excitement. Support Standardization lead in sustainability initiatives Support Standardization lead in maintaining a centralized base material database (GRANTA) Support Standardization lead in preparing technical guidelines, documents, presentations, base material catalogue, TPS etc. Develop expert knowledge within the area of responsibility Work in close coordination with the Standardization Lead to set up new initiatives and plan the roadmap activities Be a significant contributor to the continuous improvement of our systems, processes, and tools Qualifications B.E/B.Tech or M.E/M.Tech in Materials Engineering, Environmental Engineering / Carbon Management / Global Sustainability / Energy and Climate Solutions Engineering from an accredited university with 0-1 Years of experience. It's an added advantage if you have: Project / Industrial training related to Industrial material grades (Steel, Stainless steel, Aluminium & Copper) and manufacturing processes Knowledge of ANSI, ASME, ISO, EN standards (Awareness). Project / Industrial training related to Carbon footprint data and calculation Project / Industrial training related to material recycling data and calculation Basic knowledge on Design Engineering & design tools PLM, Creo, NX etc.. Basic knowledge on Agile methodology / Scrum principles Basic skills on MS Office tools like Excel, Word etc., Competencies To be victorious in the position we expect that: You are creative, problem-solving, results-oriented, and have a good sense of responsibility You can meet your deadlines with good-quality output You work as part of a team and it comes naturally to you to collaborate and share knowledge You have good communication skills and are fluent in English (speaking and writing) Good Theoretical knowledge in Materials engineering Good analytical, problem solving Should be self-driven, proactive and systematic.
