Trainee Technician / Mechanic - HGVs

The Automotive division of Questech Recruitment Ltd currently have an exciting new position to recruit a Trainee HGV Technician / Mechanic to work for an industry leading client with excellent career opportunities.

Job Description



* Trainee / Apprentice HGV Technician / Mechanic – Wellingborough



* Salary starting from £15,700 p/annum with yearly pay increases.



* Full-time, Permanent



* Monday to Friday – 08:00 to 17:00 – 40 hours per week



* Designated on site mentor.



* Location: Wellingborough



* No experience required ; this role is designed to progress an individual from trainee to quailed HGV Technician.



Funding and support through the required apprenticeship to become a fully qualified NVQ Level 2 and 3 HGV Vehicle Mechanic !



You will work within a friendly and experienced team learning how to carry out out all aspects of vehicle maintenance and repairs on a large heavy goods vehicles and trailers including breakdowns and recovery.



Some key responsibilities include:



* Support the team with preparing vehicles for MOT, service repairs and defects



* Keep tools and equipment in a clean and working condition



* Always maintain safety standards and use protective equipment provided



* You will have an enthusiasm for learning new skills, an interest in repairing and maintaining vehicles and the dedication to grow within a well-established business.
