Business College at IH (ihBC), is a division of International House Sydney, one of Australia's most highly regarded VET, English language and Teacher Training Centres. ihBC delivers VET courses in Business, Project Management, Leadership & Management, Social Media and Digital Marketing, Marketing & Communication and Information Technology across 5 States and Territories.

We are seeking a motivated and experienced contract/casual Trainer and Assessors to join our dynamic team. You will be responsible for delivering engaging face to face training and assessment at our Gold Coast campus for the below course:

• RII60520 Advanced Diploma of Civil Construction Design

Who are you?

• An experienced, current, innovative and qualified Trainer and Assessor

\n


• A Trainer who can engage and motivate students by delivering exciting classes and have the ability to deliver training in different study modes

\n


• Highly motivated and wants to be part of an outstanding team of Trainers

\n


• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills

\n


• Ability to show initiative and work independently

\n


• Solid understanding of the RII training package and the Standards for Registered Training Organisation (RTOs) 2015

Essential Criteria

\n

• TAE40116 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (or equivalent) or a diploma or higher level qualification in adult education

\n


• RII60520 Advanced Diploma of Civil Construction Design or a higher-level qualification.

\n


• Minimum of 5 years of current industry experience in civil construction design.

\n


• Proficiency in CAD software, i.e. AutoCAD

\n


• Strong knowledge of current industry practices, regulations, and standards.

\n


• Familiarity with online learning platforms and technologies

\n


• Demonstrated commitment to continuous professional development and maintaining industry currency and the VET environment to inform training and assessment practices.

• Understanding of the ESOS Framework (highly regarded but not essential).

\n
