Training and Operations Leader

This individual will provide training, guidance and expertise to the existing profit centers, regional personnel, and new acquisitions as we migrate all retail profit centers to the Voyager AMS 360 system. That system includes Image Right, AMS 360, and Benefit Point.Essential Duties and Functions: Team Voyager — Development and documentation of accounting procedures and workflows.Team Voyager — Development and documentation of accounting job aids and training materials.Team Voyager — Development and documentation of the accounting Image Right file structure.Team Voyager — Conduct trainings for office finance staff to ensure migrating offices receive excellent training and are prepared to go live.Team Voyager — Conduct trainings for regional finance personnel to prepare them to assist existing offices to go live in AMS 360 and Image Right as well as convert acquisitions to AMS 360 and Image Right.Team Voyager — Assist regional personnel in integrating existing offices into AMS 360 and or integrate new acquisitions into AMS 360. Assist regional personnel with troubleshooting and fixing post go live issues.Team Voyager - Work with the project financial leadership team to develop a roadmap to automate direct bill for the retail offices either through downloading statements or uploading statements with the AL3 file format.Team Voyager — Work with the project financial leadership team to develop an automated carrier and broker ACH payment workflow process in AMS 360 and Image Right.Attend Accounting Steering Committee meetings and consult on product solutions and assist committee members on product set-up and posting decisions.Competencies:Interpersonal skills—the individual maintains confidentiality, remains open to others' ideas and exhibits willingness to try new things.Oral communication—the individual speaks clearly and persuasively in positive or negative situations and demonstrates group presentation skills.Written communication—the individual edits work for spelling and grammar, presents numerical data effectively and can read and interpret written information.Planning/organizing—the individual prioritizes and plans work activities and uses time efficiently.Problem solving—the individual identifies and resolves problems in a timely manner, gathers and analyzes information skillfully and maintains confidentiality.Adaptability—the individual adapts to changes in the work environment, manages competing demands and can deal with frequent change, delays or unexpected events.GAAP Application — the individual has a good fundamental understanding of GAAP and can apply it to the implementation of AMS 360 and Image Right at retail profit centers.Qualifications:Required5 years or more experience in AMS 360 and Image Right5 years or more experience in insurance industry accountingBachelor's Degree in Accounting or FinanceAbility to travel up to 50%Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting PrinciplesProficient with MS Office SuiteGreat oral presentation and writing skillsGreat interpersonal skills allowing the individual to work with all organization levels in the companyAbility to maintain a high level of confidentialityPreferredBachelor's degree in Financial AccountingCertified Public Accounting DesignationWe are an Equal Opportunity Employer.
