Transformational Project Management Director

Job Description The Transformational Project Management Director is responsible for leading the company’s global project portfolio. This role ensures alignment with strategic goals, driving excellence in product and non-product project execution through AI-first strategies. The position also involves governance, compliance, and risk management across all project phases, ensuring the seamless integration of both product development and broader business initiatives. Strategy -  Project Strategy: Develop and implement an AI-driven project management strategy that enhances execution across product development and non-product projects, aligning with business objectives. -  Cross-Functional Leadership: Lead and collaborate across departments, product, engineering, marketing, operations and non-product functions to ensure unified and efficient project execution. -  Product and Non-Product Portfolio Management: Manage and prioritize both product-related (e.g., EMS and consumer electronics) and non-product-related project portfolios, leveraging AI tools for optimal resource allocation, innovation, and business impact. -  Process Innovation: Drive continuous improvements in project management processes, adopting AI-first approaches to increase efficiency, quality, and time-to-market in product development and other business projects. -  Stakeholder Engagement: Engage and align with stakeholders, including senior leadership, external partners, and clients, ensuring effective communication and collaboration through AI insights and tools to achieve successful outcomes for all project types. Operations -  Establish and Manage Milestones: Define and oversee daily, weekly, and monthly project milestones for both product and non-product initiatives, ensuring alignment with strategic goals and AI-driven insights -  Monitor Metrics and KPIs: Develop, track, and optimize key performance indicators to measure project success across all phases, leveraging AI tools for real-time monitoring and reporting. -  Optimize Resource Allocation: Use AI-driven analytics to allocate resources effectively across product development and non-product projects, maximizing efficiency and impact. -  Enhance Operational Processes: Implement and refine AI-first operational workflows, driving efficiency, consistency, and scalability in project execution across diverse functions. -  Streamline Reporting: Ensure transparent, timely, and accurate reporting of operational progress and outcomes to stakeholders, utilizing AI-based dashboards and tools. Compliance -  Regulatory and Industry Compliance: Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and EMS/consumer electronics standards across both product and non-product projects, using AI to streamline monitoring and adherence. -  Project Governance: Implement AI-powered governance frameworks to maintain control over project scope, timelines, and budgets, ensuring deviations are managed and approved. -  Risk Management : Leverage AI to identify and mitigate risks in both product development (EMS and consumer electronics) and non-product projects, ensuring contingency plans are established. -  Financial Compliance: Use AI-based tools to ensure financial compliance, managing budgets across product and non-product projects in line with corporate guidelines and EMS requirements. -  Quality Assurance: Maintain high standards of quality in the execution of both product and non-product projects, using AI-enhanced quality control processes to ensure consistency and stakeholder satisfaction.   Qualifications -  Product & Project Leadership: Extensive experience in leading global project portfolios, with proven expertise in EMS, consumer electronics product development, and non-product initiatives using AI-driven strategies. -  Cross-Functional Collaboration: Demonstrated ability to coordinate cross-functional teams across product, marketing, sales, engineering, and operations for both product and non-product projects. -  Process Innovation and Tools : Skilled in optimizing and improving project management processes through the integration of AI tools, particularly for product development in the EMS or consumer electronics industries. -  Global Experience: Broad experience managing product and non-product projects across diverse geographies and regulatory environments, with a specific focus on EMS and consumer electronics. - Risk and Financial Oversight: Strong background in managing risks, financial oversight, and compliance across product development and non-product projects, utilizing AI for enhanced tracking and risk mitigation.
