Role: Transport Planner



Location: Dunstable



Hours: Full-time, Monday – Friday



Salary: £30,000 - £36,000



An excellent opportunity has now arisen for a Transport Planner to join our client’s successful team.

The role:



Optimize routes to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of goods

Plan and coordinate movement within our fleet

Day to day management of drivers, rota, including holidays, sickness management

Work with subcontractors to supplement own fleet and meet customers’ requirements

Monitor vehicle performance, strong focus on H&S, compliance

Provide excellent customer service and communication at all levels

What we would like from you:



Previous experience as Transport planner for Heavy Goods,

Experience using Excel and cloud-based documents

Working knowledge of WTD, Road Transport regulations, FORS

Geographical knowledge of the UK road network

CPC qualification preferable

Ability to demonstrate, understand and apply Company Values and Policies

Full UK driving Licence (you may need to attend client visits)
