EXPERIENCE THAT MATTERS

BCA is seeking Architecture and Engineering Interns for the Summer of 2024. We are seeking candidates who love a challenge and work well as part of a team solving problems in creative ways. The program is designed to provide valuable and relevant experience that will serve as a foundation throughout your career.

All BCA interns have the opportunity to meet and network with employees from other departments and divisions. The interns collaborate with architects, engineers, and designers gaining experience that is an integral part of the project workflow, supervised by licensed professionals. As an at BCA, you will work on projects, attend client meetings, visit construction jobsites, and participate in other day-to-day activities of the firm.

The program at BCA also includes real-world skill building activities intended to enhance your professional and personal development. These skill-building sessions include workshops such as intro to firm management and organization, intro to business development and marketing, industry related soft skills training, or assistance building your portfolio and / or resume.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Ideal candidates should be creative, energetic, committed, flexible, initiative-taking, and a strong communicator.
  • Working knowledge of design software is a plus. (Civil Engineers at BCA use Civil3D, MicroStation, WaterCAD, and / or Bluebeam; the Architects and Building Engineers use Revit, Bluebeam, and Revizto.)
  • Excellent verbal and written skills, including the ability to present to others in small or large group formats.

Pay Range:

  • $20.00 - $23.00 per / hour
