Transportation Manager Salary: $60,000-$65,000 yearly Job Type: Full-time - Location: In-person Position Overview: The Transportation Manager oversees all aspects of DOT transportation operations, including CDL A and B driver supervision, regulatory compliance, equipment maintenance, and safety. This role ensures adherence to quality assurance programs, fosters leadership development, and promotes a safe working environment. Key Responsibilities: Lead and develop the transportation team, conduct performance reviews, and manage issues. Oversee DOT compliance, including driver schedules, routes, equipment, and hours of service. Execute administrative tasks (payroll, billing) and maintain accurate records. Ensure deliveries follow Standard Operating Procedures and company safety policies. Investigate accidents, damages, and transportation-related issues. Collaborate with other departments to ensure efficiency.Qualifications: High School Diploma/GED (or equivalent experience). 5 years of transportation, logistics, or supply chain experience with CDL drivers. Working knowledge of FMCSR/DOT regulations and OSHA rules. Strong leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. Proficiency with Windows-based systems and onboard computer technology.
