- Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (CNMT) via NMTCB or Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (Nuc Med) - ARRT (N)
- AZDHS license and either ARRT(N) or CNMT license
- Job Details
- Nuclear Med Tech/PET-76500 available at Yuma Regional Medical Center
- Contract length is 13 weeks
- Start date is 11/4
- Department: Nuclear Medicine- NUC MED Tech & PET 76500
- Experience with PET CT brain, PET CT whole body, and various nuclear medicine studies preferred
- Job Requirements
- MUST have IV experience
- Open to first-time travelers with 1 year of experience
- Direct Hires: No New grads, 1-2 years of previous experience in PET needed
- Average scans/studies per day: PET 8-10 (1 tech), Nuc Med 12-15 (split between 2 techs)
- Radiology Supervisor or Lead Tech will work closely with any new hires
- No RRA's (Registered Radiology Assistants) used
- Schedule Information
- Shifts: M-F 7-3 and 8-4
- Centralized scheduling office to use a template
- Weekend on-call rotation
- Call in are rare, maybe once a weekend
- Unit Specific Information
- Department has 1 PET scanner and 3 Nuc Med Cameras
- PET used 70% of the time and Nuc Med 30%
- Common types of imaging/studies performed: PET CT brain, whole body, various nuclear medicine scans such as bone, whole body, brain, cardiac, etc.
- Department Specific Equipment includes PET- Mobile unit Phillips Gemini, Nuc Med- Siemens
- No need for Radiologist in-house as there are multiple in house 24/7
