Value Engineering & Cost Out Project Manager
Country: PolandLocation: Kolejowa 24, Ropczyce 39-100, PolandWe are currently looking for Value & Cost Out Engineering Project Manager based in Gdansk or Ropczyce.A professional responsible for initiating, leading & coordinating value engineering / cost out initiatives aimed at reducing costs & enhancing product quality. The ideal candidate is dynamic and results-oriented person with good understanding of value engineering principles, technical competences (electronics, mechanics).ResponsibilitiesIn this diverse role, you will perform a variety of duties, including but not limited to:Manage value engineering projects from concept to completion, ensuring alignment with objectives and timelinesIdentify, analyze & prioritize opportunities for cost optimization and product value enhancement collaborating with cross-functional teamsPerform with the team Value Analysis/Value Engineering studies, document areas for improvement and develop cost-effective solutions for both NPIs and sustaining projectsCoordinate with HW engineering, Sourcing Managers and Quality teams to implement VA/VE initiativesTransform VE initiatives to projects by preparing business cases and delivering recommendations to senior management and stakeholdersCommunicate project status, progress, project KPIs to stakeholders on a regular basisTrack, update, and present on project savings monthly to key stakeholdersQualificationsBachelor’s degree in electronics, mechanical engineering or related technical fieldUnderstanding of value engineering principles, lean methodology and cost analysis techniquesExcellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to effectively communicate technical information’s to non-technical audiencesStrong organizational skills, ability to manage multiple projects simultaneouslyStrong proficiency in EnglishAbility to effectively prioritize workload and complete tasks to best meet organization’s needsExcellent knowledge of MS Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, ExcelKnowledge about Lean Six Sigma processKnowledge of timeline management, project financials, and risk management principals.Growth mindset (naturally curious & strong learning agility).Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Localization:Employees must have driver’s licenseThis role can be 100% remote but will be expected to have regular presence at one of Carrier offices, the cadence of which you will align with your manager onOffice locations: Gdańsk, Poland or Ropczyce, PolandBusiness travel (max. 20% of time)Carrier is An Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
