Variable Frequency Drive and PLC Field Service Technician

Job Description at Wistex II, LLC

Wistex is currently searching for a field service technician with an interest or specialty in variable frequency drives and controls. This opportunity will give the candidate the ability to service a large customer base located throughout Pennsylvania, New Jersey and Delaware. Some responsibilities of the candidate would be as follows:

- Troubleshoot, install, start up and repair variable speed drives, PLCs and controls

- Plan, schedule, develop and monitor field service work

- Provide support over the phone

- Prepare project cost and work-time estimates.

- Provide technical assistance and resolution when electrical or engineering problems are encountered with variable speed drives and other automation controls.

- Analyze and interpret test information to resolve design-related problems.

- Conduct inspections for preventive maintenance recommendations, report findings and recommendations.

- Conduct trainings, for customers and all personnel working on electrical controls.
