Vehicle Application Engineering Supervisor

This position is accountable for engineering project management in support of production contracts and sales opportunities Requirements WHAT YOU WILL DO: ·        Manage vehicle application engineers and specialists ·        Assign and balance workload to meet department objectives ·        Monitor and report project status of production contract and sales ·        Manage technical compliance strategies to support sales ·        Check and approve various orders, requests estimates and other documents as authorized ·        Attend cross functional meetings on behalf of vehicle application engineering section ·        Mentor and coordinate training for engineers and specialists ·        Administer employee performance programs ·        Continuously drive improvement initiatives ·        Establish effective communication cooperation and information flow WHAT YOU NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL: ·         Bachelor's degree in engineering or an equivalent combination of skills and experience ·         5+ years of experience in relevant field or job information ·         Knowledge of engineering design, the manufacturing industry, bill of materials and project management ·         Effective computer, communication and organizational skills ·         Ability to think critically and problem solve effectively ·         Ability to lead and positively manage individuals ·         Ability to understand and communicate engineering concepts ·         Strong attention to details Benefits OUR WHY: We exist to move people.
