INL is hiring a Vendor Management Program Lead to join our Acquisitions and Contracts Business Management Office to assist our small businesses, provide vendor management strategy, and help expand our business supplier base. . Our team works a 9x80 schedule located out of our Idaho Falls EROB facility with every other Friday off. You will report to the Associate Director of Acquisition & Contracts Management with no direct reports. Responsibilities Include:

  • Support mission organizations with understanding the requirements of the Small Business Program, identifying opportunities for small business participation.
  • Perform market analysis, including Expression of Interest support, and help identify adequate resources for small business opportunities.
  • Engage with acquisition staff to ensure small business and solicitation requirements are being met.
  • Perform data analysis to identify opportunities to strategically use small business in successful completion of INL missions.
  • Actively engage with small businesses seeking to support INL missions.
  • Actively engage in supplier development and education, including implementation of a vendor management strategy.
  • Assess utilization of different contracting mechanisms to incentivize new vendor participation in solicitations.
  • Actively participate in small business conferences as a presenter and in networking situations.

Qualifications: Minimum Requirements: Bachelor's degree in business, communications, marketing or related field and 5 or more years of relevant experience OR Master's degree and 2 or more years of relevant experience

  • Excellent public speaking skills.
  • You will proactively plan and manage several projects at once.
  • Ability to strategically mature an existing program.

Job Information:

  • The pay range for this position is a level 440 ($75,804 -$155,496). At Idaho Laboratory compensation decisions are determined using factors such as education, relevant experience, and other credentials.
