An exciting opportunity to join new projects with a leading Oil & Gas Operator based in Qatar. They are looking for Vessel Lead ( Shore Approach/Near Shore ).

The role is an initial 3-year contract working 7 days per week / 12 hours per day / 28 days in a month and will be based in Qatar Offshore.

Job Description Highlights:

Position provides execution leadership to PMT & Shared Services Integrated T&I Organization which is guided by the following principles:

Responsible as VMT for T&I Pipelay and shore approach activities.

interface with EPC Contractor on matters related to pipelay, trenching, beachpull and backfilling scope of work

Supervise and monitor the EPC contractor to ensure pipelay, shore approach and lifting activities are conducted safely and in compliance with contractual agreement and industry best standards

Provide Pipelay, shore approach, lifting technical support to the Shared Services Integrated T&I Organization & PMT

Intensive engagement with EPC contractor's installation team on work procedure development, contructability and activities risk assessment

Review and approve EPC contractor Pipelay, shore approach, lifting work plan/ procedure "

Demonstrate extensive experience on large heavy lift and pipelay installation Vessel/ Barge.

OPITO approved BOSIET and Medical for offshore assignment

Minimum 20 years experience in offshore pipelay, lifting activities, of which at least 8 years as OCM / CSR onboard construction barge/ vessel

Vast knowledge and understanding of marine installation operation involving DP2 Lay Vessel / Barge, anchor handling, shore pull and etc

Up to date knowledge on industry pipeline installation and repair techniques; welding, NDT, FJC and etc

Knowledge in ROV operation for pipelay and subsea construction,

Broad knowledge of execution methods and risks associated with offshore greenfield and brownfield modifications and working within a gas production facility.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Fluency in spoken and written English
