Duties and Responsibilities: Responsibilities would be monitor and coordinate voyage charters and time charters Liaise with owners and charterers to ensure smooth voyage operations. Handle claims and demurrage. Draw up and prepare charter parties. Attributes of the ideal candidate: Smart and articulate Good communication skills Customer oriented Able to work independently Hardworking Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Maritime Studies, Shipping, Logistics, or a related field. Typically 3-5 years of experience in vessel operations or a related role in the shipping industry. Hands-on experience with voyage planning, stowage planning, and bunker management. Experience in handling claims (e.g., demurrage, deviation) is often required. Precision in documentation and laytime calculations. Effective negotiation and problem-solving skills. Plan and monitor the vessel's route for optimal time and cost efficiency. Coordinate with charterers, agents, and other stakeholders for smooth operations.
