Vice President, Enterprise Business and Systems OperationsNAT0000006QDescriptionThe Director of Enterprise Business and Systems Operations plays a key role in the overall service delivery, and management of enterprise IT projects. This role is responsible for the implementation of large-scale, organization wide projects using a standard project management methodology. This role oversees teams of project managers who provide support to internal and external development teams, as well as BUs as projects are rolled out. Extensive knowledge of project management best practices, financial systems and operations and compliance requirements such as SOC2 are essential. The Director of Enterprise Business and Systems Operations is accountable to ensure that the strategic initiatives of the company are met through IT enterprise projects and programs. This role should champion culture change and shift the organization toward greater execution excellence. The Director of Enterprise Business and Systems Operations serves as a resource and advisor to the CIO and the IT Chief Project Officer, the Information Technology Steering Committee, and its members, and to the Executive Leadership Team. Responsibilities: Ensure the delivery of enterprise projects such as Project GROW, by directly supervising internal and external project managers, working closely with IT and BUs. In coordination with the CIO and the IT CPO, play a key role in the overall development, strategic planning and service delivery of enterprise-wide systems projects. Establish key processes including governance, risk management, implementation methodology, project management, and other strategic practices. Troubleshoot project challenges. Mentor staff on how to proactively engage in planning to improve project management. Deploy resources efficiently and effectively toward organizational goals, working with staff to balance workload and effort, and provide regular feedback so that key staff can continuously improve their project management skills. Ensure effective communications and collaboration; identify, develop, and maintain strategic alliances with the BUs and other stakeholders; resolve action teams, maintain regular communication channels, and disseminate timely information. Create detailed project plans and monitor progress, manage risks, issues, challenges and communicate status. Respond to Segal strategic initiatives that advance measurable change through the development and/or enhancement of enterprise systems. Ensure the delivery of qualitative and quantitative goals and outcomes of projects. Assess the feasibility and sustainability of projects and efficient service delivery. Other duties as assigned. QualificationsKey Requirements: Ten years’ experience leading teams in complex environments. A bachelor's degree in information technology or a related field, or equivalent experience. Ten years’ experience in IT project management. Highly developed leadership and interpersonal skills, analytical abilities, and superior communication skills Exceptional technical, analytical, and project management skills. Successful experience delivering compliance related requirements such as SOX and SOC2 assessments.
