DublinThe company are Irelands’ leading distributors of Pharma products to the Irish Pharmacy and Hospital networks.RoleSupervise team of 5 engineersDevelop an expertise in fundamental processes within the integrated warehouse management system and automated picking systems.Develop an expertise on how this system is integrated with a state of the art ERP system (SAP), as well as the ASRS and Miniload systems.Support the operations daily sustaining activities, ensure that the warehouse management system performs to, and exceeds established targetsSupport the business in all testing activities on the test warehouse management system. Work as part of a dynamic and multi-discipline team to deliver a robust testing solutionUnderstand, analyse and eliminate reoccurring faults or bugs on the warehouse management systemLiaise with facilities team on reoccurring mechanical or electrical issues on the automated crane and conveyor system.System auditing and maintenanceIdentify potential improvements to the warehouse management system and associated processes.Business and operational analysis (Capacity, efficiency, performance, etc).RequirementsMinimum Honors Degree in an Engineering disciplineMin 4 years prior Process engineering experience preferably in facilities, warehouse management or utilities.Team lead/supervisory experience is essential.Experience in the Pharma/FMCG sectors an advantageLean six sigma qualification an advantageExperience with ERP systems desired
