We are seeking an experienced candidate for this role as a Waste Water Project Manager for an outstanding company that works across the Midlands region and associated Water companies like STW.\nThe Company has an excellent reputation in the industry; its products and solutions use the latest technologies and innovation to facilitate efficient management of the UK’s waste-water and clean water networks.\nWaste Water Project Manager – Candidate Requirements\n * At least 5 years Waste Water industry experience which must include management of field teams and project rollout\n * Experience of waste water network surveys and an ability to build new business\n * A proven history of stakeholder, personnel and financial management\n * Experience of applying risk management principles particularly in relation to the client, workload, scheduling and reporting\n * Ideally a Degree or HND in a relevant discipline\n * Full UK driving licence\n * You should be willing to travel regularly spending on average 2 nights a week away from home\nWaste Water Project Manager – Company Overview\nThe Company has an increasing number of long-term contracts with all UK utility companies. The contracts rely on accurate and efficient installation and maintenance of a variety of instrumentation from our Field Engineers. As a total data solution provider, installation and maintenance of this equipment is fundamental to the business.\nWaste Water Project Manager – The Role & Main Responsibilities\nGeneral\n * Managing project resources and implementing agreed strategic approaches and plans for clients across the Midlands region\n * Monitoring and reporting the progress of projects\n * Working closely with clients in the creation and implementation of instrumentation maintenance strategies\n * Communicate with both the company and client management, ensuring performance, budgets and KPIs are visible.

This can then be reviewed or revised where required\n * Ensuring all budgets are tracked and monitored at a regional level and ensure this is fully communicated with the clients\n * Follow up any business development opportunities whilst also ensuring appropriate ownership of customer assets\n * Site visits to review options/viability\n * Ensure contract governance and adherence to contract specifications\n * Quality control and verification of data submitted by Analysts and Senior Project Engineers.\n * Ordering additional manufacturer parts and spares as required for distribution to regional teams\n * Identification of potential works and preparation of field packs\nStaffing\n * Selection and allocation of staff across the framework to ensure regional targets are met and that each region has an adequate level of staff experience\n * Performance management of individuals and teams\n * Responsible for all Midlands based project team members - ongoing training and mentoring\n * Day to day liaison with staff - ongoing training, mentoring and auditing\nHealth & Safety\n * Promotion of Health and Safety to ensure safe working practices to protect not only direct reporting staff but also external sub-contractors and the general public\n * Identification and management of risk across all activities\n * Communication of any Health and Safety issues in a timely manner with all clients\n * Responsible for all traffic management safety procedures\nWaste Water Project Manager – Benefits Package\n * A starting salary of between £55,000 and £60,000pa\n * Fully expensed company car (including a 24/7 fuel card)\n * A competitive bonus scheme related to performance\n * Private medical insurance/25 days holiday per year/Personal Pension Scheme
