Our local staff includes a wide variety of experience levels with expertise in city, county, and ODOT waterway and infrastructure projects for local cities, counties, and the State.A Typical Day May IncludeProject management responsibilities including monitoring scope, budgeting, staffing and production of assigned water resources projectsDeveloping existing and new client relationships, leading staff and project teams, helping VS grow water resources project portfolioWorks with clients to pursue project funding through available funding agencies while following funding agency practices and policiesPrepare and contribute to portions of water resources project proposals, change orders, client contract and communication pertaining to specific projectsGenerating water resources designs aligning with the most up to date design standardsResearch and prepare preliminary reports and feasibility studiesWhat We're Looking ForBachelor's degree or higher in Civil Engineering or a related Engineering degree from an ABET accredited programRegistered Professional Engineer in OH or IN or KY7+ years experience is designing water resource projects3+ years experience managing projects and leading project teamsBackground working on public sector design projects like state, county, and municipal design projects, etc.Experience with water and/or wastewater, combined sewer overflow consolidation, and municipal program management Preferred technical knowledge / computer skills: MicroStation/AutoCAD Civil 3D ArcGIS, GIS, ArcMAPExperience with various water resources software modeling packagesDrainage software including StormCAD and CDSS Microsoft Office products: Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook AdobeWhat You Offer UsWillingness to take on new challenges, skills, and competencies in a full-service engineering firmAbility to effectively discuss project timeline and issues with internal teams, clients and review agenciesThorough understanding of codes, legal and design requirements in relevant jurisdictionsCapable of solving complex problems using professional judgement, creativity, collaboration, and innovationExcellent time management skills High attention to detail/quality of work producedService oriented demeanorWhat We Offer YouWe provide you support from other highly skilled Project Managers & Technical Staff.
