Wedding & Events Sales Director
Corporate Sales Representative
Job Summary:
- Handles wedding, social and corporate opportunities.
- Contracts and closes local business with client’s venues/vendors.
- Implements Chef’s Catering service, strategy and applicable initiatives in all aspects of the sales process and drives customer loyalty by delivering service excellence throughout each customer experience.
- Maintaining our current book of business while expanding onto new opportunities.
Qualifications:
- Proven track record of surpassing production metrics within a face to face and phone sales environment.
- Experience with Catering/Hotel/Restaurant a plus.
- 2 years’ experience in sales and marketing.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Money motivated and will to be persistent with constant customer interactions over the phone and face to face.

Core Work Activities:
- Handles social and local corporate catering opportunities.
- Responds to incoming catering opportunities and identifies, qualifies and solicits new catering business to achieve revenue goals.
- Understands the overall market (competitors strengths and weaknesses, economic trends, supply and demand, knows how to sell against them).
- Works with ownership to create and implement a catering sales plan addressing revenue, customers and market.
- Designs, develops and sells creative catered events.
- Maximizes revenue by up-selling.
- Executes and supports the operational aspects of business booked.
Building successful relationships:
- Works collaboratively with off property sales channels (venues, wedding planners and vendors).
- Executes exemplary customer service to drive customer satisfaction and loyalty by assisting the customer.
- Serves the customer by understanding their needs and recommending the appropriate features and services while building their relationship with Chef’s Catering.
- Gains understanding of the company’s primary target customer.
- Develops a close relationship with owners to execute strategies.

- In office sales Monday – Friday 8:30 am – 5 pm.

Salary: $40,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
