Looking to Start Approx End Nov/Dec
Welder– £37,318 day shift - £49,632 Back/Night/Weekend Shifts - located in Glasgow. Benefits include a competitive pension plan and an enhanced annual leave allowance.
Shift Patterns:Mon – ThursDay Shift: 07:00 – 16:30Back Shift: 14:00 – 23:30Night Shift 20:30 – 06:00Fri – SunWeekend: 07:00 – 19:30
Overtime Rates:Mon – Thurs: Time and a thirdFriday: Time and a half for the first 4 hours, double time from then onSaturday: Time and a halfSunday: Double time
Essential Experience:Trade papers e.g. Formal Apprenticeship (required to provide papers)Ceramic Tile Welding ExperienceKnowledge and experience in Welding and use of associated equipmentCapable of all positional weldingFlux core experience (FCAW)Understanding of manufacturing processesDeposit welds that pass both visual and NDE examinationsMaterials experience of welding carbon steel thickness 4-10mm rangeClear understanding of SHE, COSHH (Safety, Health and Environment) risks awarenessWelding with MCAW consumablesWelding aluminium with MIG processWelding with automated equipment My client is a global defence leader, looking for a Welder to work on a large scale naval project, with the aim of delivering the very best product possible to our customers.
