Job Overview: We are seeking a skilled Welder to join our team. The Welder will be responsible for joining, fabricating, and repairing metal parts and structures in compliance with project specifications and safety standards. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of welding techniques, equipment, and metalworking tools to ensure high-quality and precise welds.

Key Responsibilities:

• Welding Operations: Perform welding on various metals using techniques such as MIG, TIG, Stick, or oxy-acetylene welding to fuse metal components.
• Blueprint Interpretation: Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and welding symbols to understand project requirements and specifications.
• Material Preparation: Measure, cut, and shape metal parts as required for welding projects. Prepare materials by grinding, cleaning, and removing contaminants to ensure optimal weld quality.
• Quality Control: Inspect welds and finished products for accuracy, strength, and conformance to safety standards. Conduct tests, such as X-rays or ultrasonic testing, as necessary to verify weld integrity.
• Safety Compliance: Follow all safety protocols, including wearing protective gear (e.g., welding helmets, gloves, flame-resistant clothing) and ensuring a safe work environment.
• Maintenance & Repair: Maintain and repair existing metal structures, machinery, or equipment by welding parts back together or replacing damaged components.
• Collaboration: Work with other team members, including fabricators, machinists, and construction workers, to ensure projects are completed efficiently and to specifications.
• Equipment Maintenance: Ensure welding equipment and tools are properly maintained, cleaned, and calibrated.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Welder or similar role in metal fabrication or construction.
• Proficiency in various welding techniques (MIG, TIG, Stick, Arc, etc.) and metalworking tools.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and welding symbols.
• Strong attention to detail and precision.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
• Knowledge of safety practices and adherence to OSHA guidelines.
• Physical stamina to work in various environments, including confined spaces or high places.
• Certification in welding (e.g., AWS, ASME, or equivalent) is .
