Responsibilities:

- Read blueprints and drawings, take / read measurements for layout and procedures.

- Set up components for welding according to specifications.

- Operate angle grinders to prepare parts for weld.

- Test and inspect welded surfaces and structure to discover flaws.

- Maintain equipment in a condition that does not comprise safety.

- Measure, mark, and scribe dimensions and reference points for guides

- Use precision measuring instruments

- Operate hand tools and other shop equipment such as grinders, positioners, turn-rolls, etc.

- Weld multiple materials utilizing numerous weld processes

- Perform material handling functions using fork trucks, overhead cranes, etc

- Monitor and maintain proper cleanliness of machines and work area. Communicate with co-workers and team leaders

- Iron Workers / Connectors - Connecting structural steel components.

- Ability to operate telehandlers and aerial work platforms.

Requirements:

- Proven experience as a welder for a minimum of (2) years.

- Experience in using electrical or manual tools.

- Ability to read and interpret technical documents and drawings.

- Possible travel.
