Welder/Brazer (Aerospace) – 2nd Shift
Shift: Monday – Friday, 3:30 PM – 11:30 PM
Pay: Based on Experience (BOE)
Jenks, Ok
We are seeking a dedicated Welding Assistant to join our aerospace manufacturing team. This position will support welding and brazing operations to ensure the production of high-quality aerospace components. The ideal candidate will have experience in welding techniques, a strong work ethic, and a commitment to precision and safety.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in welding and brazing operations, ensuring adherence to aerospace industry standards.
- Operate and maintain welding equipment, including MIG and brazing tools.
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work instructions.
- Perform quality checks to verify weld integrity and compliance with specifications.
- Handle metal components, fixtures, and assemblies safely and efficiently.
- Assist in material preparation, cleaning, and post-weld finishing.
- Follow all company safety protocols and industry regulations.
- Work collaboratively with the welding team to meet production goals.
Qualifications:
- Previous welding and/or brazing experience , particularly in aerospace or precision manufacturing.
- Basic knowledge of welding processes such as TIG, MIG, and brazing techniques.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining safety and accuracy.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
- Willingness to work 2nd shift (3:30 PM – 11:30 PM, Monday – Friday).
Skills:
Experience with aluminum, stainless steel, or other aerospace-grade materials.
