Key Responsibilities:

• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to produce custom metal products.
• Fabricate and assemble custom handrails, fencing, gates, and mailboxes to exact specifications.
• Perform MIG welding on steel and aluminum, ensuring high-quality welds.
• Operate and maintain a variety of fabrication equipment, including saws, grinders, and drills.
• Inspect and verify the quality and accuracy of finished products.
• Assist with the installation of fabricated products, including mailboxes.
• Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work environment.
• Be available and willing to work overtime as required to meet project deadlines.

Qualifications:

Experience:

• Entry-level candidates with basic welding and fabrication skills are welcome to apply.
• Senior-level candidates should have advanced welding and fabrication experience.

Technical Skills:

• Proficiency in MIG welding is required.
• Experience with both steel and aluminum fabrication is highly .

Education/Certifications:

• A relevant technical degree or welding certification is but not required with equivalent experience.

Work Ethic:

• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Reliable, punctual, and willing to work overtime as needed.

Interview Process:

Round 1: In-Person Welding Test - be prepared with welding hood and gloves

Round 2: In-Person Behavioral Interview with Member of Management Team

Compensation: Market rate in line with skills and experience

Location Note: Candidates must be able to commute to our shop in Athens, AL.
