Welder Fabricator

We have an opportunity for a Welder/Fabricator to join a long-standing engineering firm at their site in Oldham.



This is a hands-on role that requires skill, precision, and a strong understanding of welding and fabrication techniques.



What’s on offer?



* £15.00 - £17.50 per hour



* Monday – Friday 7:00am – 4:00pm



* Early finish on Fridays



* 24 days holiday (plus bank holidays)



* Overtime available (paid at 1.5x)

What will you be doing as a Welder Fabricator?



* TIG & MIG welding on mild and stainless steel



* Working with light to medium gauge steel (1mm - 20mm)



* Reading and interpreting engineering drawings



* Cutting, bending, and fabricating metal components



* Operating overhead cranes for material handling



* Ensuring all work meets NDT/X-ray testing standards



What do you need?



* Proven experience in welding and fabrication



* Ability to read technical drawings



* Experience working with mild and stainless steel



* Familiarity with NDT/X-ray standards (desirable)
