Welder/Fabricator

Job DescriptionJob DescriptionSalary: $18-$28+/hour

Duties/Responsibilities/Skills:

  • Utilize MIG and/or TIG for welding steel, stainless steel, and aluminum.
  • Finish parts (straighten, grind, polish, wipe down, etc.) per spec on print or leads instruction.
  • Read and interpret customer drawings.
  • Produce quality, error free parts with precision on customer specifications.
  • Review traveler/prints to determine what needs to be fabricated/welded.
  • Read blueprints, tape measure, and caliper.
  • Double check parts to spec before and after fabricating, then have another approved person check.
  • Be able to follow directions in a fast-paced environment while completing jobs in allotted time frames.
  • Have great communication skills and be detail oriented.

Experience:

  • Can demonstrate welding/fabricating knowledge and skill
  • Food grade polishing experience is a plus.
  • At least 1 year of blueprint reading ()

Physical Requirements:

  • Prolonged periods of standing and walking with frequent pulling, pushing, lifting, & bending.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times.
  • All personal protective equipment must be worn where necessary (i.e. safety glasses, shoes, etc.)

Education:

  • High School or equivalent

Salary:

  • Starting at $18- $28/hour (based on knowledge and experience)

Schedule:

  • 8-10 hour shifts
  • Monday-Friday
  • Daytime
