FabX, LLC currently has an opening for a tig welder. First and foremost, candidate will need to be driven to come to work every day and be on time. From there a general knowledge of tig welding, an ability to ready a general print, and ability to read a tape measure, etc. are necessary. FabX generally works with stainless, aluminum and mild steel in the area between 22ga and .375” in thickness. A desire to help manufacture high precision / high quality parts is a must. Please note types of welding candidate is comfortable with when responding.

Responsibilities:

• Work steady and have a desire to build quality parts and assemblies
• Read and understand print and use that knowledge to fabricate needed parts
• Have an ability to work without direct supervision
• Maintain a safe working area
• Strong attention to detail
• Desire to grow your knowledge in the welding department and beyond

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED
• Ability to read, write and comprehend simple instructions
• Ability to use common sense and follow instructions
• Ability to cross train and work in other areas as needs arise
• Ability to get along with coworkers on all levels
• Ability to drive forklift is a plus
