Production Associate 2 Welder/Glazer
JOB DETAILS
Base Pay: $17.75 per hour
1st Shift: 6:45 am - 3:15 pm
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Operation of various hand tools to manually construct window units
- Set up welding equipment and select appropriate materials based on specifications
- Ensure high-quality welds to meet production standards
- Operate welding machines to fabricate and assemble window frames using various welding techniques
- Ensure accurate measurements and alignment during the welding process
- Ensures overall quality of work produced by performing quality inspections /audits and engaging in problem solving activities to resolve issues of concern
- Inspect finished products for quality and make necessary adjustments or repairs
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment by following procedures and regulations (5S / PPE / LOTO)
- Collaborate with team members to optimize production processes and efficiency
Qualifications
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds regularly and stand for duration of entire shift
- Strong attention to detail and quality
- Knowledge of welding techniques, equipment, and measuring tape
- ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure
- Be able to recognize material by shape and
- Capable of using computerized equipment
- Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks and work in various positions
- Must cross-train and rotate on various workstations within line/complex
- 1 - 3 years of experience working in a manufacturing environment
