Welder - TIG Welding
Randstad is currently seeking skilled and experienced Welders for an exciting permanent opportunity with our client in Greater Victoria, British Columbia. If you are passionate about welding and have strong experience in TIG welding, particularly with thinner metals like Aluminum, we want to hear from you! Advantages - Competitive wage starting at $37 -43 per hour, based on experience. - Additional $1.50 if Red Seal - Monday to Thursday 6:00 AM to 4:30PM - Permanent position with long-term stability - Opportunity to work with a reputable company - Career growth and development potential - Stable and consistent work opportunity Responsibilities - Perform TIG welding on various materials, with a focus on thinner metals like Aluminum. - Ensure all welding projects meet safety standards and quality specifications. - Operate welding equipment and tools safely and efficiently. - Maintain a clean and organized work area. - Collaborate with the team to ensure smooth project execution. - Assist with training and mentoring junior welders as needed. Qualifications - Strong experience in TIG welding, primarily on thinner metals such as Aluminum. - Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and deliver high-quality work. - Red Seal or Welder Level B certificate is ideal - Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills. - Ability to assist in training and mentoring junior team members.
