EMBS Engineering Ltd is working in partnership with a leading precision engineering manufacturer, located in Walsall that is currently in the market for a Welding Coordinator to join their company on a Permanent basis.

Responsibilities
Due to internal changes and continued success, our client is seeking an experienced welding coordinator to join them on a permanent basis.
As a Welding Coordinator, you will be responsible for…..

Review welding requirements
*
Issuing weld consumables and procedures
*
Responsibility for the jobs once they are released
*
Putting together weld history sheets
*
Support the calibration and maintenance of welding plant and equipment
Successful applicants must be able to demonstrate:
*
Experience working in a manufacturing environment with a strong understanding of welding and fabrication
*
Ability to interpret and work with engineering documentation and certificates
*
Strong organisational skills with a methodical approach
*
Proficiency in IT systems, including Word and Excel
Desirable Skills & Experience:
*
Welding coordination experience or qualification
*
Knowledge of NDT techniques (Visual, MPI, DPI)
*
Hands-on welding experience with TIG, MIG, and STICK processes
*
Ability to coordinate multiple tasks efficiently
