EPCI contact for OSS and HVDC converter station have been signed off on May 02nd 2024 between RTE and the consortium.

 

A high-level project program for the CM1-CM2 EXC/ISL is presented below

  • Design phase CM1/CM2 EXC and ISL: 02/05/2024 – 31/12/2025

  • Fabrication CM1 EXC (Offshore section): 01/11/2024 – 31/01/2028

  • Fabrication CM2 EXC (Offshore section): 01/11/2025 – 30/05/2030

SCOPE OF WORK

1/ Technical support to Employer for Welding engineering topics

This includes,

Review and comments of EPCI Contractors proposed procedures likely:

  • Welding book (including WPQR booklet & WPS)

  • Weld map

  • Welding production testing plans

  • Welding consumable procedure

(This shall include necessary knowledge on welding, as well as materials aspects).

 

This review applies to EPCI Contractors procedures included their subcontractors as per MDR document

 

3 main scope identified to be quoted as lump sum

  • Topside scope – indicative period oct 2025 for submitted first IFR (issue for review procedures)

  • Cofferdam scope– indicative period sept 2025 (issue for review procedures)

  • Jacket scope – indicative period oct 2025 (issue for review procedures)

  • Pile scope – indicative period july 2025 (issue for review procedures)

 

2/ Technical support in reviewing Non-Conformity Reports, Deviation requests, Technical queries during EPCI project.

 

3/ Site activities (optional scope)

  • Participation to technical inspection on site /yard depending on criticality / contractor appraisal

  • WPT tests witnessing on site

  • DNV-ST-0145 Offshore substations (governing standards)

  • DNV-OS-C401 Fabrication and testing of offshore structures
