Welding Fabrication Technician - Part Time

We are seeking a Technician III to join a large manufacturing company in Lee's Summit, MO on a part time basis for 12-18 months.

Pay: $27 - 39/HR

Description:

Duties: 1. Fabricates prototype components and/or assemblies for product testing 2. Documents all aspects of tests including objectives, procedures, results, conclusions and recommendations 3. Analyzes problems and recommends solutions; expedites prototype parts or assemblies 4. Performs a variety of non-routine assignments of moderate complexity, including various engineering tests using sophisticated and/or specialized measurement devices and test equipment 5. Develops, prepares and makes recommendations for schematics, designs, test procedures and/or specifications 6. Performs other duties as assigned

Skills: Mechanical aptitude and experience Experience with metal fabrication (plasma cutting, form, machine, and weld) Small engine maintenance Ability to set-up, calibrate and use specialized measurement devices and test equipment Strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills Ability to interpret data and create technical documents Fluent in primary used in area of responsibility and/or location and able to read English Fluent in English and primary used in area of responsibility and/or location
