Job Summary:
Jones Welding & Industrial Supply, Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented and skilled Welding Repair Technician to maintain and repair welding machines in-house. As a company that prides itself on exceptional service, this is a key role in ensuring our customers receive reliable equipment. Welding knowledge is highly preferable, and experience with small engine repair is helpful but not required. Comprehensive training is available for the right candidate.


Key Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and perform in-house repairs on a variety of welding machines.
• Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues in welding equipment.
• Test and calibrate machines to ensure proper functioning after repairs.
• Maintain accurate service records and parts inventory.
• Communicate effectively with the service and sales teams to ensure prompt and efficient service delivery.
• Provide excellent customer service by ensuring all equipment is repaired to the highest standard.
  
  

Qualifications:

• Welding knowledge is preferable; experience repairing welding machines is a plus.
• Understanding of wiring schematics and computer boards
• Electrical experience is very helpful
• Small engine repair experience is helpful.
• Strong troubleshooting skills in electrical and mechanical systems.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
