Wind Engineer

We have an exciting opportunity available for a Wind Engineer to join our team in Brisbane, Perth, Sydney or Melbourne on a full-time/permanent basis. Reporting to the Lead Renewable Engineer, you will providing technical support under general supervision in relation to wind generation design and engineering services for hybrid power plant projects. Key Responsibilities Ensuring all engineering work complies with statutory and regulatory requirements and company policies and practices. Ensuring all engineering work is completed on time and within budget. Preparing preliminary and detailed designs of renewable power projects and ensuring project work complies with conditions and parameters set out in project scope of works. Preparing documentation for standards, procedures, safe working practices and monitoring regimes in respect of work on or around renewable power generation projects. Preparing maintenance planning for all renewable power generation projects. Your background Tertiary qualification in Engineering admitting to corporate membership of the Institution of Engineers Australia or equivalent experience (Mandatory) RPEQ, RPEV, CPEng certification (desired) Deep understanding of wind farm engineering principles and practices. Ability to manage the renewable power engineering elements of projects from start to finish. Ability to prepare preliminary and detailed designs of renewable power generation projects, specifically those that include wind turbine generators. About the Team The Infrastructure Engineering - Power team forms part of the Infrastructure Delivery division in APA, responsible for development and delivery of growth power projects across Australia. With a strong pipeline of power projects, both on-grid and off-grid, the recently established Infrastructure Engineering – Power team is experiencing rapid growth. We are actively seeking new talent to complement our existing cadre of multi-disciplinary engineers.
