About the Role: In this entry level role, you will play a vital part in developing a safety-first culture and ensuring compliance with the CPL Group WHSMS and WHS legislation. You will provide day-to-day administrative and operational support as well as project work, giving you the opportunity to shape safety practices, influence policies, and positively impact the safety and wellbeing of our teams and the wider community. Key Responsibilities will include: Collaborate with Business Unit Managers, Regional and Service Managers, Supervisors, and HSRs to advise on proactive safety management and incident response. Analyze incident and audit data to identify risks and trends, aiding leaders in developing and implementing effective risk controls and initiatives Monitor and review CPL Group’s WHSMS policies for compliance and relevance to WHS legislation and standards. Support the Work Health and Safety team’s administration by addressing safety enquiries and requests. Collaborate on the implementation and evaluation of work health and safety training to enhance staff capability and improve organizational safety performance. About you: You are dedicated to creating a safe, supportive environment. Strong communication skills are essential for interacting with team members and advising on safety practices. As a natural problem-solver, you tackle challenges proactively. Your attention to detail ensures accurate safety data tracking and effective corrective actions. Strong organizational skills will help you manage multiple tasks, while your adaptability and eagerness to learn will support your growth in the role. To be successful in this role, you will need: Highly developed interpersonal, written and oral communication skills including the ability to liaise, consult, and negotiate with internal and external stakeholders and prepare accurate and meaningful advice, reports, correspondence and presentations. Demonstrated communication and problem-solving skills, ability to foster collaboration and build positive relationships at all levels to achieve safety goals and drive cultural change. Knowledge of and the ability to interpret and apply, WHS legislation, codes, standards, policies, procedures and risk management processes. Demonstrated skill in the use of a range of computerised systems and applications relevant to WHS to complete administrative tasks. This includes, but is not limited to, the Microsoft suite including Excel, Incident Management and Safety Culture software So why would I choose CPL?
