A Workday Systems Analyst specializing in Finance is responsible for configuring, maintaining, and optimizing the Workday Financials module. This role ensures accurate financial data management, reporting, and system integrity. This position reports to the Business Applications Manager and supports the ongoing Workday project, with potential for full-time employment upon project completion.
Key Responsibilities:
- System Configuration & Support: Configure and maintain Workday Financials, including general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, and expense management.
- Business Process Optimization: Work with finance teams to streamline financial processes and implement automation where possible.
- Data Management & Reporting: Ensure financial data accuracy, reconcile discrepancies, and create financial reports.
- Testing & Issue Resolution: Conduct testing for new Workday releases, troubleshoot system issues, and coordinate resolutions.
- User Support & Training: Assist finance teams in system navigation, reporting, and troubleshooting Workday-related issues.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- 3–5 years of experience working with Workday Financials module.
- Participation in at least one full Workday implementation or major system enhancement.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial workflows.
- Experience in a healthcare or hospital environment is .
- Ability to create and manage Workday financial reports.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Experience with financial data reconciliation and compliance.
- Strong knowledge of Workday Financials and related modules such as Banking & Settlement, Budgets, and Customer Accounts.
