Then you're exactly right with us During your time with us, you will get to know many of Hapag-Lloyd's core processes As a working student, you will be part of an expert team developing a modern data platform and working with the latest technologies such as Databricks and Snowflake Your tasks will range from data extraction through its analysis and transformation to providing it for visualizations Maintenance and further development of data operations in our Data Lakehous Analysis of data sources and transformation (ETL & ELT) in Databricks Support in automating data pipelines Your Qualifications You are currently pursuing a full-time degree with a focus on Data Science, Computer Science, Mathematics, or other equivalent quantitative fields You have already gained relevant practical experience through internships/student jobs/deepened knowledge in your studies You have experience in development with Python/PySpark JavaScript or other high-level programming languages as well as SQL You are enthusiastic about Data Engineering topics and technologies such as Databricks and Snowflake, and big data technologies like Spark You already have some experience with Amazon Web Services Your curiosity about Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning rounds off your profile Good knowledge of Excel or QlikView / Qlik-Sense (including advanced formula application) is also a plus You are interested in working with complex business scenarios and translating them into tools and algorithms You enjoy applying logical thinking and working securely with optimizations, algorithms, and mathematical models You are characterized by a high degree of initiative and commitment, as well as very independent work organization You have very good communication skills in English (spoken and written).
