Our team mission?We provide our customers and developers with guidance and manage the E/E hardware, software and functions in time for integration and subsequent processes.We are the central partner for HW/SW documentation and the associated E/E process knowledge. We enable smooth vehicle assembly by transparently identifying discrepancies and using our expertise to help prevent them.We share our knowledge with our interface partners throughout the Group and shape the path of development in the transition to Lead in Car SW on HW with MB.OS.This mission is our North Star and determines our actions.The E/E release plan assigns releases to the various development phases during vehicle development and serves as the basis for planning the development departments and testing activities. The mds.me (cPlace) tool supports us in updating the E/E release plan. A standardized design of the E/E release plans across all series facilitates the readability and acceptance of the E/E release plans.You will have these exciting tasks as a working student in our team: Independent maintenance, support and updating of the E/E release plans in cPlace for all Mercedes-Benz Cars models (model series)Implementation of formatting changes, layout etc. across all model series plansIndependent creation of generic release planning and introduction of own optimization approachesOptimization, care and maintenance of the existing release manager knowledge databaseDocumentation of cPlace content and functions for the creation of a release plan in terms of know-how transferFurther development of the configuration overview for hardware/software queries and independent creation of release management queries for E/E scopes (HW/SW statuses)Supporting the release managers with escalation tasks after freeze datesYou will gain deep insights into the organization of RD processes (Research & Development) We don't offer you a run-of-the-mill job, every week brings new challenges and opportunities to create something new.
