Working Student: System Architecture and Simulation (f/m/div)

System modelling : You will support the simulation of a 3-phase hybrid inverter system using PLECS and MATLAB System understanding : You will investigate and understand the impact of different filer designs, the system behavior after a grid failure and conduct a THD study on different control algorithms and switching frequencies Simulation environment : You will support the system simulation activities within the system application teams Be creative : You create communication material, process concepts, and prepare data visualizations Teamwork is dreamwork : You support the team with your profound analysis and results which will trigger further system design activities This working student position is a position at our location in Soest. Study field : You are currently enrolled in your Bachelor or Master studies in a business, informatics, engineering degree or similar Skills : You are experienced in modeling product and system performance and behavior using MATLAB Simulink, PLECS or similar. You possess very good Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel and Power Point with a good level of visualization skills being a plus Way of working : You are self-driven and comfortable with a high degree of freedom while working focused delivering a high level of quality Personality : You have a strong ability to structure complex processes, organizations, and interdependencies while showing entrepreneurial spirit and strong interpersonal skills Language skills : You speak English fluently Please attach the following documents to your application: CV in English Certificate of enrollment at university Latest grades transcript (not older than 6 months) High school report Important information: Working part-time : The focus is on studies. Therefore, working student is possible during the lecture period with a maximum of 20 hours per week. Proper students (according to the German law) are welcome : You must be enrolled, and the examination results or modules of your studies must not have been completed yet, so that you can still work in our team for at least 6 months. You must also not be in a semester of leave. You should live close to the site : It is important for us to work with you on site and to integrate you into the team.
