Minimum Qualifications:
Education: Master’s Degree in Public Health, Mass Communications, or related field of study
Experience:
- Modeling and implementing coherent messaging
- Meeting coordination and facilitation
- Must be organized and detail oriented
- 1 year of supervisory experience required
Other:
Must be 21 years of .
Negative Drug Screening prior to hire and throughout employment.
Clear Criminal Background Check throughout employment with Suncoast Center and local checks prior to hire and annually along with DCF Level II prior to hire and as required by DCF, and Must have valid Florida Driver’s License Motor Vehicle checks prior to hire and annually with acceptable driving record maintained throughout employment along with reliable vehicle, valid registration, and valid vehicle insurance. (must be in compliance with Florida Laws and Administrative Codes with fingerprinting and determined to be of good moral character).
Working Conditions: Office based work environment, includes community based meetings, visiting to partner facilities, and community events/venues. In county travel to venues, sites, and partner locations.
Computer Literate; Good computer skills with Microsoft software; Competent with analysis software and task management software. Content creation software such as Canva, Adobe products, or similar a plus.
Job Duties:
Zero Suicide Partners of Pinellas is a collective impact project where multiple agencies, companies, and individuals are working together to end suicide in Pinellas County. The Zero Suicide Planning Manager leads this project and coordinates the efforts.
- Serves as the senior leader of a complex collective impact project, Zero Suicide Partners of Pinellas, to ensure effective implementation of Zero Suicide model
- Develops, reports and implements the project plan for the Zero Suicide Partners of Pinellas implementation, meeting the local, state, and methodologies
- Maintains the Strategic Planning for the Zero Suicide Partners of Pinellas
- Supervises the positions assigned to Suncoast Center’s Zero Suicide team, coordinating the team efforts to ensure effective completion of tasks, activities, and strategic plan elements.
- Champions the message of Suicide Prevention as accessible for participation from all & Champions the story of the Zero Suicide Partners of Pinellas
- Facilitates the collaborative meetings that engage multiple agency partners and community individuals
- Presents the Zero Suicide Partnership of Pinellas report to the Behavioral Health System of Care
- Oversees training for all agency staff and community on the Zero Suicide model, evidence-based practices, quality service implementations, and cultural implantations
- Participates in developing guidelines, standards, policies, and procedures related to the suicide prevention care pathway and process improvement
- Manages and reporting of quality metrics including: data collection, management and analysis, preparation of reports to contract and funding organizations, and ongoing program fidelity requirements
- Collaborates with Quality and Process evaluation for the development, analysis and distribution of progress reports to internal and external stakeholders
- Uses data to plan and incrementally improve processes partnership wide for Zero Suicide implementation
- Ensures effective methodologies between care coordination partners for the electronic exchange of client level collaborative data to improve care
- Creates and implements communication plan across agency and community
- Ensures program is in compliance with all state, federal, and accreditation rules and regulations
