2nd Engineer

For Van Oord we are currently searching for engineers who would like to pursue their future on the advanced fleet of this global player in the dredging sector in a long-term employment contract.

As a second engineer, you will work in an experienced team of machinists where sharing your knowledge and skills is welcome.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Daily operations in the engine room
• You are partly responsible for managing the team of engineers
• Diagnosing and detecting technical malfunctions of machines and systems
• Maintaining the technical installations on board
• With high safety standards, you’ll ensure all work is conducted safely and in line with Van Oord’s protocols. You’ll also receive an onboard introduction covering essential topics to support your start
